Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Board
The Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund is governed by a ten (10) member board. The Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Board meets four (4) times each year. Generally, the Board meetings are held at 901 N. 7th Street, Harrisburg in Hearing Room 200. The following are the dates and time for the meetings in 2004:| March 11, 2004 | 10:00 am |

USTIF Fees Increase
The Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Board has voted to increase the USTIF fees, which will become effective January 1, 2004.
- The Capacity Fee will be $0.0825 per gallon of capacity.
- The Gallon Fee will be $0.011 per gallon on all deliveries.
New 977 (Title 25) Regulations Highlights
- Claims must be reported within 60 days after the confirmation of a known release or coverage will be denied. (977.34)
- Requires claimant to cooperate with the Fund in its eligibility determination process, claims investigation, the defense of any suit, the pursuit of a subrogation action and other matters as required. (977.32)
- Establishes an appeal procedure for tank owners and installers that requires an appeal to a claim denial be filed with USTIF within 35 days. (977.61(a))
